SDG17: Getting to know you - sending letters to our partners.

Key Points for Organisers

1. We would like to have an exchange of letters to prospective penpals to arrive before the end of December.

2. Postage and some additional costs for one package of letters to each country (4 packages) will be paid for by Connecting Classrooms EVEN by reimbursing the school or teacher who sent the package. Teachers will be asked to show receipts of the expenses they are claiming, claims for postage, printing, paper and writing equipment will be accepted.

3. The accounts will be transparent to the lead teachers in the schools of the network.

4. Posted items will contain paper only and be posted by SAL (Surface Air Lifted) or equivalent budget air mail. Teachers will quarantine their mail and only open and deliver to pupils after discussion with sender country teachers. Teachers will record who recieved each letter for the purposes of helping develop penpal relationships.
