There are two small strange ducks that always come along to bats wood. There names are Ben and Jerry. The male duck is called Ben and the female is called Jerry. We don't exactly know where they came from but every once in a while they will come visit us, and swim in the bats wood lake or may I say the flooding that has formed into a lake. Whenever you walk past or through bats wood you may or may not hear quacking but now you know it was Ben and Jerry all along.

dogwood growing advice

Dogwood :

(where is the best place to plant a dogwood tree) = choose a site for your dogwoods that is well-grained but does not get extremely dry. Soil high is organic matter is best. Dogwood can be planted in full sun or partial shade, though partial shade is best. Dogwoods are typically an understory tree in the wild.

photography

photography is a key thing you need to promote your charity, business or company. it lets the viewers of the website see the things we do and what the surroundings look like. That's why at bats wood we always take time to edit our photos so we can present them at their best. When i first joined bats wood as a volunteer i generally thought it was all about planting trees and growing plants but its not, photography also takes a huge part of it. it's also a great way to spend your free time and you might learn something from it. TRY PHOTOGRAPHY!

potatoes

Recently we were planting some wonderful potatoes. We planted these potatoes in large plant pots filled with lovely soil that will hopefully help our potatoes to grow. we are not quite sure what we will do with the potatoes once they have developed but there are many things we can do with them such as, sell them, donate them, or eat them. we are all hoping we will get many, many tasty potatoes.
